An AI image studio that needed to look more human than its competitors. The paradox was the brief. We leaned into it — building a visual language that sits exactly on the line between real and constructed.

Every other AI company was leaning into the technology — gradients, glitch aesthetics, blue everything. The client needed to go the opposite direction without looking like they were trying to hide what they were. The line between human and artificial had to be the point, not the problem.

The rebrand positioned Fictura as the only AI studio with a recognisably editorial aesthetic. Press coverage in five design and technology publications within the first month. Client acquisition rate doubled in Q1 following launch.
